I got this player for free with Sharp 52D85U LCD TV. It worked immediately out of the box without any problems. Startup time is approximately 15 to 20 seconds, but it works perfectly all the time.

I even played the old DVD and play without problems.

I also played a thirty Blu-ray from Netflix and he has done all without problems.

The player is sensitive to the quality of DVD and Blu-ray, so if it stops or jerks is defective and not DVD pleyer, once dried DVD with a detergent, and started to play perfectly.

This Blu-Ray is really great. Easy to configure and use.
The image is so real, you feel that you are right in the middle of the action.

When I was just a bad player, the Denon # 3800 blu ray has not even a player, I would recommend. I have a Sony BDP S-500, that the transfer to another room and bought the Denon to replace it in our main hall. The first images from Denon was not as sharp the details seemed gone. The colors are muted, never alive. I went through the setup menu and then "by" the two players, who did not expect to do. The difference was amazing. The Sony was almost three-dimensional, the Denon looked like an average, not Blu-ray. I have the Blu-ray Blade Runner, The Final Cut, Planet Earth, the New Frontier and Spider-Man. My TV said it already had a 1080p picture from Denon. I sent the first day, the image would not be decent for a normal DVD for a higher model of the Blu-ray.

Samsung support is virtually useless, and this unit does not even play Dead Man's Chest. Samsung says that there will be a firmware update in a few weeks.

Until now I always thought Samsung a company much good.
This fiasco BD-P1200 has changed my mind.
